OUR DELIVERY EXPERIENCE / CDP
Finance separation.
Connected to the business.
Coordinating systems delivery and operational readiness within an international business separation.
The situation
CDP was preparing finance systems and operational processes for a new legal and operating structure. The work connected decisions across finance, technology, legal, HR, treasury and regional teams.
Readiness depended on those functions providing the information, approvals and operating arrangements needed for the systems and processes to work together.
Our contribution
Leanpro supported the finance systems workstream through delivery coordination, integrated planning and dependency management. The work also included readiness discussions and operational communications so that the people affected understood what needed to happen and when.
The approach connected system and data activity to its business prerequisites. It distinguished work the systems team could deliver directly from inputs and decisions owned elsewhere.
What needs to be true
for the business to operate?
Configuration. Data. Access. Decisions. People. Support.
The operating focus
The scope involved configuration and access requirements, migration and reconciliation planning, regional variations and the support arrangements needed around transition.
Working through those relationships helped teams identify material dependencies and prepare evidence for readiness decisions. It also gave the programme a clearer basis for understanding the impact when timing or upstream assumptions changed.
The value of the work
The work brought finance systems activity, business dependencies and operational readiness into a connected delivery view. It helped make ownership, required inputs and decisions clearer across an international separation programme.
What this brings to your programme
A separation plan needs to reach the activity people perform in the systems and the controls used to accept the result. Leanpro helps connect that operating detail to the wider delivery sequence.
